We drove down to KC Saturday night and had some really good ribs, cheesy potatoes, slaw, bbq beans and chicken at Jack Stack BBQ at the Plaza.
We stayed downtown and had a blast at the swimming pool. Had some college kids at the pool with us but with some push we took over the hot tub.
We woke up and had Denny's across from the convention center. Yummie!!!
We headed to the zoo and not kidding you had the best parking spot ever. We were at the zoo at 9:30 sharp and spent the next 4 1/2 hours wondering through the Artic, Africa and Australia.
We finished our short trip in KC with a bite to eat at Gates BBQ. We had BBQ Beef, Pork and Ham...really good and put us in for a 3 hour trip home.
Another Labor Day adventure for the Ingrams.
